Sony Xperia Z Ultra Specifications, Review and Price in India
Frankenstein monster, the Smoke Monster and the Godzilla were the monsters of the past and they don’t exist now. True that! I completely buy your point but only if you haven’t met the all new beast in the Xperia family. That’s right; Sony has launched whole wool of mammoth in its ongoing Xperia series of Smartphones- the Xperia Z Ultra. The all new fiend in the Sony family comes bolted with large 6.44 inches screen in its skeleton while underneath the hood it picks up the top notch series of Snapdragon 800 processor and dexterous system memory. Cauldron of all these performance packed features makes this Phablet as the biggest Smartphone from the company so far. Of course, I can’t bet that company won’t come up with even bigger thing next time but as of now it’s the Xperia which rocks.
Design and build:
Talking about the design and build phenomenon of any Xperia Smartphone is real fun and fascinating. Since all the Smartphones from the company have boasted an attractive deigns, the Z Ultra seems to be a step ahead amid all. The elegant metal frame with tempered glass is embossed on both the sides of the Phablet that reflects a modest look of the mobile phone. One would surely be taken aback to see the build dimensions that measures about 179 x 92 x 6.5 mm with a mere weight of 212 grams. Now this is something to shout about. The large surface area is confined to the mere thickness of just 6.5mm! Apart from this, the front portion is bolted with large 6.44 inches full touch screen which is supported by front facing camera embedded on the top, while the rear portion has massive 8 Megapixels sensor with LED flash.
Somehow, you will not feel a weight in your hand while having a hold of the Phablet as the chassis is made more from the plastic material which to some extent gives it a glimpse of sheer luxury look. But anyways, it’s a treat from the company to rejoice the hold of a handset like this.
Software and system interface:
Bigger the body is, heavier the functionality will be. True story! Over here in this case, the Phablet is optimized to run on the latest version of the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS which confusingly however, doesn’t changes the user interface much but one would find little bit of changes in the keyboard and in some apps as well. Aforementioned, the device packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which is clocked at a speed of 2.2 GHz. Further, it is intelligently partnered with 2GB RAM. Thus, having a hold onto the blazing flash processing speed and handling multitude application run is no more alien for a device like this.
The brilliant 6.44 inches full HD Triluminos display proves out to be stunning and clearer than the other Xperia models. Perhaps, that could probably because of the large display. But all in all there’s no wonder about the superb clarity. Kudos! Apart from this, there no embedded buttons on the front panel of the handset, the mobile phone uses onscreen menu buttons.
The absolute performance of the brilliant 8 Megapixels proves outstanding even while clicking the shots in the low lighting conditions. It is pretty snappy and swift while grabbing the subject in its digital format. This is something too good to enchant your causal photography but it’s ain’t a camera, instead it’s a camera laden Phablet. However, the front portion boasts 2 Megapixels snapper which proves pretty decent for carrying out distortion free video calling without any hitch or break.
The Smartphone picks extra kudos in terms of its memory. Built in memory totals to giant 16 GB this can be further amplified up to monster 64 GB. Thus, stocking your multimedia content is no more a topic to worry about. Worry about it later!
The Phablet earns its power from massive 3000 mAh Li ion battery that promises a line drawing performance without breaking a sweat. Now that certainly means that this chum will be there for you for a fairly long time without buzzing for frequent recharges.
It seems like the looks like all new beast in the Xperia family will pink slip its rivals with sheer ease. The Phablet tends to emerge as a stunner while making out the best in class features. However, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra price stands pretty aggressive on the charts but it completely justifies its features.
